Today let is talk about one most famous budget phones MOTO G 4 PLUS and its bigger brother ,
a modular phone MOTO Z.
Lets not talk about mods and modularity as they are present in only Moto Z and not in Moto G4.
So lets Start .
MOTO G4 Plus/MOTO G4
Well Moto G4(here after referred as just Moto G )
has a Octa core snapdragon 617 processor clocked at 1.5 Ghz.
There have been reports of overheating and well this was to some extent was solved by a update earlier this year.And hopefully will be solved futher after the Nougat update scheduled later this year.
It also has a full HD display(1920x1080) with a pixel density of around 401 pixels.
The display is crisp and sharp and has fantastic colors
When it comes to battery it has a good enough 3000 mAh battery that for most of the users will last for a day.
The phone has Turbo charge which according to company's claim will take 15 minutes to charge enough battery to last 6 hrs.
The phone has a two ram options 3GB and 2GB(4 Gb ram in some countries) and ram options which are coupled with 16 GB and 32 GB storage respectively.
Moto G4 plus has the best in class rear 16 MP camera coupled with laser autofocus and phase detection auto focus.
The phone has 5 MP front camera which the company claims to be wide angle camera.
Moto Z was the latest was the latest phone by the company Motorola.
This phone comes into premium range and has some completely unique to this phone like ability to change its capabilities with mods.
But lets us talk about the specs
The company claims this phone to be the thinnest premium smartphone available in market.
This phone has QuadHD display (1440x2560) with 535 pixel density.
This phone has a powerful Qualcomnn snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 1.8 Ghz . With a 4 GB ram .
The phone has a elegant design and feels very premium in hand.
The phone has surprisingly less battery compared Moto G to 2600 mAh . With turbo charging on it.But the battery management appears to be better on MOTO Z.
The phone is extreamly good at the prices it comes at. And is expected to give tough competition to its competitors .
The finger print scanner is located below the screen.
The only difference you will notice at first look is the MOTO branding above fingerprint scanner in MOTO Z.
Moto Z has four mics on it located at different place like beside the finger print scanner one at back etc.
Where as Moto G 4 has 2 mics one beside the finger print scanner and one on the back of the phone.
Both the phones have near stock android(some that has little to no changes from what google makes )
some notable changes are the moto actions like chop for flash light and twist for camera which come very handy.

Both phones are really good at their respective price ranges and target different group of people. One thing can definitely be said is MOTOROLA has pumped up its attempt to regain the market share it once had but now under the leadership of LENOVO.
